Flexible Fit

Fits almost any seat. The padded brace wraps around the headrest of a plane, train, bus or car and locks shut with a wide velcro strap, so it stays put even when the seat reclines. The two side wings close around your head and hold it upright, which means no more jolting awake every time it falls to one side.

pillow

Materials & Comfort

Made from soft quilted fabric with memory foam padding in the side wings, and a breathable stretch jersey wrap that holds your arms without squeezing them. The blackout mask has deep contoured eye cups, so nothing presses on your eyelids and no light gets in. Lightweight, folds flat into its travel pouch, and machine washable.

Woman asleep on a train wearing the Cradlewrap travel sleep wrap

Your head stops falling. You stop waking up.

Two padded wings strap around the headrest and hold your head upright, so it never jolts you awake again. The blackout mask seals out every bit of cabin light, and the stretch wrap takes the weight of your arms instead of your shoulders. Works the same on a plane, a train, a bus or the passenger seat.

FAQ's

speed

Will it fit my seat?

Yes. The padded brace wraps around the headrest and closes with a wide velcro strap, so it adjusts to almost any seat: plane, train, bus, coach or the passenger seat of a car. It holds firm even when the seat reclines, and takes about five seconds to put on or take off.

waves

Will my head really stay up?

That's the whole point. Two memory foam wings close around the sides of your head and hold it against the headrest, so it can't fall sideways or jolt you awake. It's the difference between dozing off for ten minutes at a time and actually sleeping through the journey.

battery_charging_full

Does it block out all the light?

The mask has deep contoured eye cups that sit around your eyes instead of pressing on them, and the padded sides close the gap at your temples where light usually leaks in. Cabin lights, window glare and the screen in front of you all disappear.

monitor_weight

How do I clean it?

Machine washable on a cold gentle cycle inside a laundry bag, or hand wash in cool water. Let it air dry completely, never tumble dry or iron. The stretch wrap and the padded brace can both go in together.

  • I laughed way too hard

I travel for work every single week and I've tried everything. This is the first product that actually addresses the problem instead of just softening it slightly. The head doesn't fall because it's anchored to the seat. That's it. That's the whole thing. Why did it take this long for someone to make this.

    Jessica R.

  • Everyone stops us to ask about it

Road trip from Phoenix to Portland, two drivers. When it was my turn to sleep in the passenger seat I used this. Slept for four hours straight, woke up somewhere in Oregon. My travel partner was so impressed he made me pull over so he could try it at the next rest stop. He's ordering one today.

  • Worth every penny

I have a long commute by train and I've been trying to use that time to sleep for two years with zero success. Used the Cradlewrap for the first time yesterday morning. Slept for 45 minutes and woke up at my stop. I've never done that before. I've already used it again this morning. This is going to change my commute completely.

Overnight bus from Atlanta to New York. I know. I do it for the price. I've always arrived completely wrecked. This time I had the Cradlewrap and I slept for about five hours of the nine. On a bus. Head locked, mask on, arms resting. Arrived tired but functional. That's a massive improvement.

The arm sling is the part I didn't expect to matter and it's the part I keep thinking about. I didn't realize my arms were part of why I couldn't stay asleep on planes. They have nowhere to go — they slide off the armrest, they press into the seat, they wake you up. The sling just holds them in place and suddenly that whole problem disappears.

My wife bought this for me after years of watching me snap awake on planes from the head drop. Used it for the first time flying to Orlando. Slept from takeoff to the captain announcing descent. She asked how the flight was and I said I genuinely don't know because I was asleep. She's now ordered one for herself

Took the Amtrak from DC to Boston last week. Two and a half hours, tried to sleep the whole way, actually slept the whole way. The velcro on the train seat headrest worked without any issue. The mask blocked the window light completely. I arrived and had energy. On a Tuesday morning. That's not normal for me.

I drive overnight for work about twice a month and I stop at rest areas to sleep in the passenger seat. Before this I was waking up every 20 minutes from the head drop. Set this up on the car headrest, mask on, and slept for 90 minutes straight without moving. Felt like a completely different experience.

Customer photo review of Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Used this for the first time last night on a red-eye from LA to JFK. I need to be honest: I was skeptical. I've bought three travel pillows in the last two years and all three are in a drawer somewhere. This one is different. My head did not fall. I woke up when we started descending. That's never happened before.

Just got this in the mail. Pulled it out of the box and the quality is immediately obvious — the padding on the headrest piece is solid and the velcro looks like it'll actually hold. Flying to Denver on Thursday. Will update but first impressions are really good.

Flight attendant here. I deadhead on commercial flights regularly and sleeping in a passenger seat is both necessary and miserable. The Cradlewrap is the first thing I've used that actually works. The anchor means my head stays put even if there's turbulence, the mask is properly blackout and doesn't press uncomfortably on my eyes, and the arm sling keeps me from sliding. I've recommended it to three colleagues already.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I take a lot of long-haul buses in the US — they're cheap and I don't mind the time if I can sleep. The problem is always the same: the head falls, the light wakes you up, and you arrive exhausted. The Cradlewrap is the first thing that's actually addressed all three of those at once. The velcro on the bus headrest works fine, the blackout mask is properly dark, and the arm sling keeps me in a position that doesn't hurt. I've used it on four buses now and slept properly on all four.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Works really well on planes and trains. I haven't tried it on a bus yet but the concept clearly transfers. Four stars because the instruction card could be clearer — I figured it out but it took longer than it should have. The product itself is excellent once set up.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Took a 22-hour bus journey through South America and genuinely thought I would not survive. I don't know why I didn't buy the Cradlewrap before this trip instead of after but I'm telling everyone who will listen now. The local buses have headrests that the velcro works on just fine, the mask keeps out the light at the checkpoints where they turn the cabin lights on at 3am, and the arm sling means I don't spend the whole journey gripping the seat in front. I slept about 11 of those 22 hours. On a bus through the Andes.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Used this on a transatlantic flight and slept better than I have on a plane in years. Four stars because the arm sling is sized for a medium build and I'm on the broader side — it worked but felt a bit snug. Everything else is excellent. The blackout mask is properly dark and the head anchor works on every seat I've tried.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I work night shifts and sometimes I sleep on public transit on the way home. I know how that sounds but it's real and the head-falling problem is real and embarrassing. The Cradlewrap anchors my head to the seat back so I don't end up leaning on a stranger or snapping awake from a head drop every fifteen minutes. I've been using it for three months on the subway and the train. My commute home now feels like recovery time.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I drove from Dallas to Denver solo for a family thing. Stopped at a rest stop in New Mexico around 2am, pulled out the Cradlewrap, reclined the seat, and set a 90-minute alarm. Woke up to the alarm and not a single time in between. The head anchor on the car headrest worked perfectly — just velcroed right on. Got back on the road feeling like a person. This thing is genuinely useful in situations nobody talks about.

Bought this for a red-eye from Denver to New York and it was the first red-eye I've ever arrived from feeling like a functional person. I usually need most of the following day to recover from overnight flights. This time I went straight from the airport to a meeting. That's not a small thing for someone who travels regularly for work.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

My daughter is in college across the country and I fly out to see her three or four times a year. I'm not a young person and the travel wrecks me. I bought the Cradlewrap after seeing it mentioned in a travel forum and I used it for the first time on a red-eye from Seattle. I slept for the first four hours, woke up for the beverage service, slept another two. Arrived feeling like I had actually rested. I called my daughter from the airport and she said I sounded different. That's the review.

I'm 6'4" and economy seats were designed for someone significantly shorter. I've given up on comfortable flights and started just trying to survive them. The Cradlewrap doesn't fix the legroom but it does fix the sleep problem which is honestly more debilitating on long flights. My head is supported, my arms have somewhere to rest, and the mask shuts out the cabin light. I flew to London and back last week and arrived both times without the usual headache from bad sleep. Progress.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

The arm sling deserves its own review. I have never thought about where my arms go when I'm trying to sleep on a plane but they're a huge part of why I can't. They either slide off the armrest and wake me up or they press awkwardly against the seat and cut circulation. The arm sling holds them in a neutral position and I don't think about them for the rest of the flight. Such a simple thing. Such a significant difference.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I've been using a neck pillow for eight years and every time I use it I think 'this is better than nothing' but also 'I'm still going to wake up forty times.' The Cradlewrap is categorically different because of the anchor. I don't know why it took this long for someone to make something that attaches to the seat instead of just sitting on your neck. It's so obvious in retrospect. Chicago to Frankfurt, woke up twice. First time in years I felt remotely rested after a transatlantic flight.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I do a lot of road trips alone and the rest stop nap has always been my thing. The problem is I wake up every 20 minutes from the head drop and end up more tired than if I'd just driven through. The Cradlewrap on a car seat headrest changed that completely. I stop, anchor, mask on, arms in the sling, set a timer, and actually rest. I've driven solo trips of 1,000+ miles now where I've arrived feeling okay instead of like a zombie. It's a real thing.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Road trip from Seattle to San Francisco — two drivers, taking turns. When it was my turn to sleep in the passenger seat I used the Cradlewrap and when it was my partner's turn they used it too. Neither of us arrived destroyed. That is genuinely not something that has ever happened on a road trip of this length before. The arm sling is the thing I keep coming back to — it holds your arms in a resting position so you're not fighting the sleep the whole time.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I have terrible travel anxiety and part of it is the exhaustion from not being able to sleep which makes the anxiety worse. The Cradlewrap has helped break that cycle on flights. If I can actually sleep, I arrive less depleted, which means I'm less anxious at my destination. It sounds simple but it's made travel meaningfully more manageable for me. I used it four times in the last six months and all four trips were noticeably better.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Really solid product. The concept is right and the execution is mostly great. My one note is that the mask, while excellent at blocking light, presses slightly on my nose bridge after a few hours. Not a dealbreaker at all — I just loosened the elastic a bit and it was fine. The head anchor and arm sling are both genuinely good.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Solid product. Head anchor works on plane headrests, bus headrests, and car headrests — I've tested all three. Four stars because I'd love a version with slightly softer padding on the head cradle. The current padding is functional but could be plusher for longer flights. Still the best travel sleep product I've owned.

I took an overnight bus from New York to Chicago last month and I genuinely cannot believe how different it was. I've done that route before and arrived completely destroyed. This time I had the Cradlewrap — head anchored, mask on, arms in the sling — and I woke up somewhere in Ohio when the bus stopped and realized I'd been out for four hours straight. Four hours on a Greyhound bus. That should be impossible. It wasn't.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I drove overnight from Phoenix to LA twice a month for a period last year for work. That drive destroyed me every time. Not because of the driving but because of the attempt to sleep in rest stops and parking lots in between. The Cradlewrap on the car seat made a genuinely meaningful difference. I stopped arriving to LA meetings looking and feeling like I'd been in a car for seven hours. I just arrived.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

I always thought the people who slept well on planes were just lucky or had some biological advantage I didn't have. Turns out they had a product that worked. The Cradlewrap anchor is the difference. You're not hoping your head stays up — it's physically connected to the seat. That's not luck, that's engineering. I flew cross-country twice last month and slept both ways.

Flew 14 hours to Japan in economy. I want you to understand what 14 hours in economy means for a normal person who is not small. I used the Cradlewrap for the first time on this flight because I figured it couldn't be worse than what I usually do. I slept for nine of those fourteen hours. NINE. In economy. To Japan. I'm writing this review before I even unpack because I feel so strongly about this.

    Cradlewrap™ Sleep Wrap

Took an 18-hour train ride through Europe last summer and I genuinely didn't know what to do with myself for that long. Used the Cradlewrap for the overnight portion — about nine hours. Slept for six of them. ON A TRAIN. Not a sleeper car, a regular seat. The mask kept out the light when we went through stations at 3am, the head anchor kept me from falling on the guy next to me, and the arm sling held everything in place. I arrived at my destination able to actually enjoy the day. I'm still a little shocked.
